City Introduction


Guangzhou
     Located in Guangdong Province, 163km (102 miles) NW of Hong Kong, 165km (103 miles) NE of Macau
Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province, and the center of Guangdong Province politics, economy, science and technology, education and culture. Guangzhou is located in the south of china. It borders on the South China Sea, adjoins Hong Kong and Macau, and is located on three major rivers. Its position is extremely superior and it is known as the south gate of China. The transportation is very convenient to go to Hong Kong, and it takes 50 min to go to Shenzhen by train, and 30 min to go to Dongguan.


Shenzhen

    Shenzhen is a sub-provincial city of Guangdong province in southern China, located at the border with Hong Kong; it takes 50 min to go to Guangzhou by train, and 20 min to arrive in Dongguan. Shenzhen is a Mecca of foreign investment and since the late 1970s has been one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It is also the busiest port in China. In the past two decades, more than $30-billion has been invested by outsiders in Shenzhen building factories and forming joint ventures.
    There are numerous different places worth a visit whilst staying in Shenzhen, such as Windows of the World, Splendid China, Happy Valley Theme Park, Xiaomeisha Beach Resort, Silver Lake Tourist Center, Dameisha Seashore Park, and Wild Animal Zoo - Safari Park just to name a few. Shenzhen is a shopping paradise for both residents and visitors. On weekends, crowds of Hong Kong shoppers pour into the city searching from luxury stores to street stalls for various things such as international brands to local products. There are numerous foreign food stores and restaurants, a Wall-mart, Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, and much more.


Dongguan
     Dongguan is located in the mid-south of Guangdong, north-east of the Pearl River Delta, with Guangzhou to the north, Shenzhen to the south and neighboring to Hong Kong and Macao.
    Its land surface is about 2,465 square kilometers and the coastland has a length of about 115.94 kilometers.
    The actual registered population is about 1, 5389 million but the temporary one is estimated to be over 5 million.
Dongguan is an important centre for the economy of China because of its booming industries. One of the most important sectors is IT; Dongguan is a leading city in producing computers and component parts. The transportation is very convenient to go every where; it takes 30 min to arrive thecapital-Guangzhou by train, and 20 min to arrive Shenzhen.
